Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, as an extension to his successful River Cottage tv series, has launched a website (www.landshare.net) "connecting growers to people with land to share." The basic concept is that the site allows a grower to find someone nearby that has some unutilized land and is willing to see it put to use. The website claims to have 45,000 members in the UK..
Could this concept work in Florida? If you are living in a high density environment or do not have "enough" land or simply want to participate in a more community-orientated farming, is this something that you would look into?
